About Us

Order of the Pegasus is the women’s/ femme armored combat team that fights out of Detroit Fight Club. Formerly called Sororitas Pegasi, Pegasi debuted at Carolina Carnage 2023 where we came in 1st place. In July 2023 we changed out team name in order to fit the members of our team better.

This is a supportive and welcoming community for ALL people. At the Detroit Fight Club, we embrace diversity and support our fighters are not just as warriors in the list, but also as individuals with unique personal journeys and identities. Medieval Combat is for everyone!

Who are We

We are a bunch of random people that were drawn together through our desire for friendly violence.  We are made up of a group of people who always felt different from other women or people in general. You may be asking yourself, “Will I fit in?” Don’t bother trying to fit in. We will accept you just the way you are. 

Why do we Fight

Everyone does this sport for different reasons. For some, it’s because we grew up loving strong female warriors in books by authors such as Tamora Pierce, Kristen Britain, or Kristin Cashore or maybe we just loved watching Xena: Warrior Princess. Some of us always dreamed of being a knight and finally found our chance to live our dreams though this club. And some of us just love the friendship and sense of community and belonging. Whatever your reason is, we have a place for you on this team <3

Try It for Free!

Come out to a practice to meet the other members and try the sport! You will make friends and may even find a new sport you love. This sport isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. You'll never know until you try. The first practice is free.

Once you figure out if you enjoy the sport, you can join by going to the “Join Here” page on the Detroit Fight Club website. Once you start payment, you are in! There is no contract. If you need to pause your monthly membership for any reason, let the coaches know.
